A super cute idea for a craft day!
This Diwali I decorated a number of candles to set up multiple display areas throughout my home. Here is yet another candle.
To add more glam, I have used some glitter paint and rhinestone in addition to the basic puffy paints for this design. It was a very quick DIY project. Here is a short tutorial / tips for you to create your own 🙂
Materials used :
- Candle in glass container (I bought mine from dollar store) Or you can use the bare candle itself.
- Tulip paint – Blue glitter, gold metallic and red.

Halloweentown brings us into a world that all Halloween lovers could only wish to visit! It’s my childhood wrapped up in yet another Disney movie. The Cromwell clan bands together to save all of the creatures that reside in best place on earth. Who knew that witches made potions in microwaves and that vampires goes to the dentist?! Every little detail epitomizes Halloween for me.
This movie is so near and dear to my heart, I cannot begin October until I sit down and watch this work of art. Everything about it is perfect. It has that Disney Channel Original Movie charm, badass witches, ~amazing~ special effects, and a KILLER musical number starring Bette Midler. THIS MOVIE SURELY PUT A SPELL ON ME, AM I RIGHT??

A great and fun idea that can be applied to spending time with friends, not just dates!
Movies are a popular Friday night date. I can’t say that that in particular is a new idea or a creative one. I propose setting aside the normal and venturing in to the unknown: pushing the boundaries of what you typically feel comfortable with and opting for a little bit of silliness.
I was born with the silly bone. Being that it is October, there are plenty of fun things to do as far as dressing up. There are costumes, costume jewelry, colored hair spray, and much much more available at almost every large shopping center for relatively affordable amounts.
